This is not a complete list - please ensure you bring anything further you might need.

We will transport only one personal bag per rider between Burn Camps. We recommend a large (100l) soft duffle bag. We offer transport for your bike bag/box (and anything you don’t require during the race) from Graaff Reinet to Shamwari – you will not have access to these items until Saturday, 31 October. Hand in this bag/box during registration in Graaff Reinet.

RIDING GEAR

• GPS head unit (with pre-loaded route)
• Front bike lights if you want to take part in Night Burn
• Minimum 4 pairs cycling kit (recommended - handwashing powder and washing line available in Burn Camps)
• Helmet
• Base layers
• Arm & leg warmers
• Lightweight rain jacket
• Windproof vest or jacket

• Sunglasses (clear, photochromic for wet days / dark, polarized for dry days)
• Chamois cream
• Enough nutrition to get you to Padstal 1 each day (AMACX is available at Padstals)

BIKE

• Tubeless tyre set up is highly advised
• Tyre plugs – include a mushroom plug
• Mini pump and/or CO₂ inflator
• 3x CO₂ cartridges
• Tyre levers
• Spare brake pads (spec sintered or semi-metallic)
• Multitool with chain break
• Quick links
• Spare derailleur hanger

• Duct tape (small roll or wrapped around pump / seatpost)

CAMP LIFE
